Enemy Information
There are several types of enemies that Companions can encounter in battle, both in and out of the Grove. Below are the types of enemies, what races are in each type, and what you get when you battle one.
Valor earned is calculated by how much health the COMPANION lost in the battle. It does NOT round up. So 1.9 will still only result in a valor gain of 1. The minimum amount that can be gained per battle is 1 valor.
Gold earned is shown by two numbers. The first is if the Companion survived the battle and the second is if the Companion died as a result of the battle.
Light Infantry

The Light Infantry is low combat enemy, with light strength and defense. They are usually the easiest enemies to defeat.
Gold Earned: 500, 250
Valor Earned: 0.2
Races: Canine, Centaur, Dwarf, Feline, Goblin, Gnome
Heavy Infantry

The Heavy Infantry is a medium combat enemy, usually in the front lines of an attack, and have medium strength and defense. They are harder to beat than the Light Infantry as they have magical defenses.
Gold Earned: 700, 350
Valor Earned: 0.3
Races: Cyclops, Dark World, Giant, Troll
Light Magic

The Light Magic is a higher combat enemy, that uses both magical defenses and magic attacks. However, they do not have full magical strength. In any case, they are still a formidable enemy.
Gold Earned: 1000, 500
Valor Earned: 0.4
Races: Dark Elf, Undead
Fighting Magic

The Fighting Magic is the highest combat enemy, and only really strong Companions can stand up to the damage that this type can inflict. However, they provide the greatest gains when it comes to gold and valor, but the greatest chance of death as well.
Gold Earned: 2000, 1000
Valor Earned: 0.5
Races: Gods, Underworld
