Mystic Grove War Info![]() Goodly War
From the Mystic Grove lore: Years before Humans were even to be, many ancient races lived upon the earth. Some races chose to live in harmony with others and the nature around them. Preferring to learn, grow and love, members of these races have strove for generations to protect and preserve the beauty to be found. Some have members who live to be over 1000 years old and are very knowledgeable. Some of the ancient races are considered neutral for they tend to ally with whom their interest lies at the time. Much like humans are now, some of these races do only what they feel is best for themselves and can change their opinions quickly. Other races have no sense of peace or love or fairness. Even amongst themselves, their main loyalty is to greed. These are the Ungoodly races they are constantly looking to attack others so they may gain gold, lands or power. War Volunteers You are able to have 7 companions at any one time in service fighting in the war. Each companion will return with gold for its service, depending on what enemies they battle, how many they battled, and whether they survived the encounter or not. Upon volunteering, a companion will be gone anywhere from 3 days to 10 days. All companions to return will come back at midnight every night. There is the possibility they will return unharmed, but usually this is not the case. They will return injured or even dead. Upset about getting a dead companion back? Try the Resurrection potion in Merlin's shop. There is only a 60% chance of the companion returning, but if you get an Ultimate Resurrection spell in a Care Package, you can return any companion back to life. Each time a companion battles an enemy, they earn some valor, which is dependent on the amount of health they lost in the battle. If your companion gets a valor over 20, the silver medal below will show up next to your companion's name. If your companion gets a valor over 50, the gold medal below will show up next to your companion's name. However, if your companion is extremely lucky and manages to make it to 100 in valor, it's picture will change completely. If you continue to send your Companions out, they can possibly reach 600 valor which is a 5-star General. Examples of the images are below.
Do you want to see how they are doing while they are out? Go to your War Room and you can see all of your Companions out to war, including using any healing potions on them if they left with one, or use any equipment that they have on them and are available to be used. This will also allow you to see on a day to day basis their health, valor (as it is gained automatically after each battle), gold earned, what type and race of the enemy they fought on the day they fought them. So some of your companions returned injured? Use the heal or advanced heal potions from Merlin's shop on the Companion. If you want to help others that are hurt, you can find injured companions in the Healer's Hut on Mystic Grove, or you can use the Heal Injured link up above. It works just like the Basic and Battle Training. War Images
Attacks on the Grove
Unfortunately, the problem with war is that it doesn't always stay in a far off battlefield. In many cases, the battlefield comes a lot closer to home. Scouts keep watch on the land surrounding the Grove and are able to notify us at least a day in advance on incoming armies. Companions then on a Caretakers private Tree of Life prepare to defend the Grove from the incoming enemy. All those Companions in the Dormitory and Hall of Fame stay behind to protect the young ones, and to provide support behind the front lines. Each attack is different, as some enemies are more powerful than others. In some attacks, more companions will die, while in others none may die but bring back a lot of gold, along with everything in between. Don't want your Companions to defend the Grove? Make sure they are not in your private Tree of Life. All level 6 Companions will defend the Grove, no matter the status of their Life Gems coming down the river.
With the find of the Protectors, there is a chance that no companions will die as long as the Protector is on the Private Tree of Life at the time of the attack. Possibilities: Gold Gain or Loss |
